NuOven FC—Series have10-segment temperature control program to realize temperature curve program running.
It is important to distinguish drying ovens from other common laboratory heating devices. An incubator is designed to maintain lower, biologically relevant temperatures (typically from just above ambient to about 80°C) with very high stability and often added control for humidity and CO2. Its purpose is to grow cultures, not to desiccate.
A muffle furnace reaches much higher temperatures, often exceeding 1000°C, for applications like ash content determination, heat-treating metals, or incineration. It lacks the precise lower-temperature control and uniform airflow of a drying oven. A drying oven occupies the middle ground, optimized for the 40°C to 300°C range, with a focus on moisture removal and thermal processing, not extreme heat or biological incubation.
